Take some time to wander around our amazing gardens. We've got a great variety of native and exotic plants to explore!
The summer
We've even written our own guide to the birds of the area, with colour photographs of all the most common species! If you'd like to take one whilst you're out exploring, please ask at reception (we can probably also give you some hot tips on the best places to go, too). We also have binoculars and various field guides available.
It's not just the birdlife that thrives around here, we've got an incredible diversity of mammals, amphibians, reptiles, fish, invertebrates... the list goes on!
Speaking of fish... Australia's largest freshwater fish, the Murray Cod, is the most common fish in the river here!!! We're also keen anglers, so if you'd like any pointers on how, when and where to catch these incredible fish, just ask!
